Meet Avery J. Klatsky
Avery joined the SFMG’s Financial Planning team in 2023 following his graduation from Arizona State University after spending the prior summer as the firm’s summer intern. In 2026, he transitioned to the firm’s Advisory team.
Guided by one of SFMG’s core values of passionately protecting clients’ best interests, Avery takes his responsibility as being his clients’ confidant very personally. It is his mission to connect with his clients and provide them with unwavering confidence and guidance as they navigate their careers, families, life events, retirement, and overall financial journey. His clients are his people, and he’s dedicated to treating them like family while ensuring that someone is always in their corner advocating for their best interests and priorities.
Having grown up literally across the street from SFMG’s office, Avery is a Plano native through and through, and he is proud to call it home. Outside of meeting with and serving clients, Avery prefers spending time with his wife, Dylan, enjoying the company of his friends and family, researching investments, giving back to the community through participation in various local foundations and organizations, experimenting with new recipes on the Blackstone, reading John Grisham novels, and working to improve his seemingly constantly-struggling golf game.

Q+A with Avery
Plano, Texas
Lime-flavored sparkling water and the *occasional* cream soda…Dr. Brown’s only!
In a semi-particular order, 1) researching interesting investment opportunities or personal finance tidbits, 2) planning the next fun weekend getaway for my wife and I, 3) finding the best steak seasoning at the grocery store (there can never be too many), and 4) anything related to the Dallas Stars & Arizona State football…#ForksUp!
